In chapter 157 Christopher found the letters that were sent to him from his mother. There were letters writing to him just about her day, and what she was up too. Then there were letters about why she left and that she was really sorry. Halfway through reading the third letter, he threw up all over, then he said that he passed out and woke up when his father found him. His father washed him off and then tried to explain what he had done.
if that had happened to me, i would probably take all the letters into my room and read them in order from when they came. After reading the all i would get the address and go to it trying to find my mother. I would probably be properly pissed off at my father and do what Christopher did.
Chris found a box of letters in his fathers room that are from his mother. He finds out from the letters that his mother is still alive and that she is still alive ans that she moved to London with Mr. Shears. Christopher is quite angered because his father lied to him and told him that his mother is dead. So, Chris runs away to try and go find his mother. If i was in Chris's position i think that i would also be very angry that i had to go through all of the trauma of thinking that my mother had died, when she had been alive the whole time.
1)Christopher found out that his mother is not really dead and she is only staying with the former Mr. Shears in london. 2)Christopher may have gone into a state of shock and not known what to do. 3)I eould have been overjoyed that my mother was not dead. I would have been very angry at my father for hiding the truth from me. I would have much rather known that my mother was not dead.
In this chapter christophewr decided to go searching for his book that his father took from him. But, e found some letters from his mom and found out that she is still alive!! So, when christopher finds this out he freaks out and throws up a little bit. When his dad finds out he tries to explain, but it dosn't work and only makes things worse and his dad tells him that he was the one who killed the dog. So,christopher decides to run away because he thinks that his dad might kill him if he killed the dog. Christopher threw up a lot and did not know what to do. If I was christopher I would have ran away and freaked out a lot and go and see my mom.
1) In chapter 157 Chris find letters about his mom. 2) Chris didn’t know what to say. 3) I probably would be really mad at my dad because I had a chance to get to know my mom but he would not let me take the chance.
1) In chapter 157 Christopher read all of the letters from his mom and figured out that she was not dead and is dad was hiding the letters from him. 2) When Christopher figured out what was happening he threw up all over the bed and just led there and did not talk to his dad. 3) I would have gotten very mad if I was in Christopher's position.
1) In chapter 157 Chris finds a bundle of letters that his mother had sent him that his father had hidden from him. Christopher finds out that the letters are from his mother recently and that his mother is not dead, she is alive, she just moved away from home. 2) Christopher’s reaction to this is that he doesn’t talk to his father. He simply ignores him. His father keeps apologizing but Chris will not talk back. 3) If I was in this situation, I would have the same reaction as Chris. I wouldn’t want to talk to my parents because they lied to me. I would hate my father for keeping me away from my mother.
#1: Chris kept letters his mom sent him a while ago and he was bored do he re-read them.
#2: He stopped reading because they made him feel sick.He had some sort of mental loss or he passed out or something because everything was fuzzy and time was moving very fast and he couldnt make out things.
#3:I would have probably been angry and sick just like Chris had been.
There was a lot going on in chapter #157. The most important thing, is that while Christopher was looking for his book in his dads things, he found letters that were sent from his mom. While he was reading he found out that his mom is not dead and she is in London with Mr. Shears. While he kept reading after he found out that she wasn't dead the letter's said that she left the family because she thought that it was for the best. After he read all the way through the middle of the third letter, Christopher had to stop reading it becuase he was very confused and I would imagine him being sad. He said that he didn't really know if this was the truth and was wondering why his father lied to him and wouldn't tell him after all these years. If this happened to me my reactions would be very similar to Christophers. I would be very sad and mostly very confused. I would also be very mad at my dad if he did something like this to the point of him lying about my mom's death.
Christopher finds all the letters that his mom had sent to him in the past years. He also found out that she hadn’t died and is living with Mr. Shears. His father caught him reading the letters. Christopher started to get sick and felt like he couldn’t trust his father anymore. I probably wouldn’t have gotten sick, but I would be super pissed and probably wouldn’t know exactly how to react to something so big that had been kept from me for so long. I might want to go and find my mother though and ask her all of what happened.
1.)What happened in Chapter 157 is that Christopher read a bunch of letters from his mother and figured out that she was not dead and had been writing to him for a long time.
2.) Christopher was kind of shocked and surprised that his mother was not dead and had been writing to him since she moved away. He also felt betrayed because his father had been keeping this secret from him for a long time.
3.) I would feel the same way Christopher did. I would feel betrayed and hurt.
1.) What happened? Christopher found letters that his mother wrote him, proving that she was not dead
2.) What was Christopher's reaction to the events? He felt sick, and threw up. After a long nap, he is quiet and doesn't react to anything his father does to him, he allows all of his fathers comforting jesters be done.
3.) What would have been your reaction to the events if you were in Christopher's position? I would have been really angry and i probably at first would have yelled and screamed at my dad. Then i wouldn't talk to him for a long time and i would try to contact my mother. As well as find out why he would have hid her from me.
Chris found out that his Mom is actually alive, and living in London. He ends up leaving his house to try and find his Mom. If I were him I'd be extremely mad, because Chris's Dad lied to him.
There were many things that happened during this chapter. Some of these things were, Chris went to look for the book his took from him, he instead found letters from his mom and found out that she was still alive. Chris was angry with his father and also very surprised. If I was the person who thought that my mother had been dead for years and I suddenly found out that she was alive I would be very angry for being lied to for so long. I would not have taken it well at all.
In chapter 157 Christopher found all of the letters that his mother had sent to him. She had sent letters to him about her life and what she had planned on doing the rest of the week. She also wrote letter to Chris explaining why she left and how sorry she still is. Christopher’s reactions to these events were that he had thrown up and then passed out. I wouldn’t have had a reaction that bad I would go and talk to my father then go and call my mother and talk to her.
1. Chris had figured out that his mom had not really died, his dad had just made all of this up. His mom had been sending him letters all along but his dad was hiding them from him.
2. Chris's reaction to this was that he was very shocked. He described it as like being detatched, he didn't like to be touched, but when his father put his hand on him he didn't really feel it.
3. If I was in Chris's position, I would be extremely mad. I would probably not talk to the dad for a long time and then demand to know what really happened, and why he did this.
In chapter 157 of The Curious incident of the dog in the night-time Christopher found some letters that his real mom had written to him. His dad lied to him about his mother being dead, and that she had a heart attack. Chris’s actions were odd for him. He said nothing to his dad and let him touch him. Chris didn’t fight, scream, or try to push him away. This is really odd for him and also a dramatic change. If I was in Christopher’s position I would have probably pushed away the dad and just left. I don’t think it’s right for an adopted child to be lied to about their real parents. It’s wrong. So I would be extremely upset, and most likely have a hard time trying to forgive that.
In chapter 157 Christoper reads all the letters that his mom had sent to him after she moved away. After reading almost four letters Christopher realized that his mom had never died, and she had been writing to him this whole time. His dad had been lying to him about it for two years and hiding the letters. Christopher got upset over this and that made him sick. He described it as the room spinning, which was his minds reaction to simply not being able to deal with the information he had found out. Then he simply fell asleep and ended up throwing up all over himself. He was very out of it and couldn't really think. If I had been in Christopher's place I probably would not have gotten sick and thrown up but instead I would have simply gotten angry. I wouldn't have talked to my dad or even acknowledged him, and if I did talk to him it would most likely be yelling.
1). what happened in chapter #157 was that when Chris was looking around in his dads room, he happened to find a stack of letters addressed to him. He decided to take one and read it. it turns out that his mom had been trying to reach him for a long time. 2). Christopher's reaction was confusion and shock. He was not sure what to believe. he blacked out and got sick in his dads room. 3). My reaction would have been confusion, and I would be scared to live with my dad because I would not know when or how I could ever trust him again.
