I am asking you to give me one word that describes the change in you, in the class, and the change in your learning this school year. I want to take these words and your photo to create works of art to display at my presentation. So think about
1. what is one word or phrase to describe a change in you this year;
2. what is one word or phrase you would use to describe this class;
3. and, what is one word or phrase to describe the change in your learning?

Great words, everyone! This is a very good exercise... to send a complex message with just a few words.
You know, this activity is more than a simple classroom lesson. I have used this in interviews... at the end of every interview, you will be asked if you have any questions of the interviewers.
A question I always ask is "What would be the one word or phrase you would each use to describe the successful applicant?"
This gives each person on the interview committee a chance to speak which they usually appreciate. And as you listen to the responses, you may hear some of the words or phrases you used to describe yourself earlier. The more that happens, the more likely you are their choice!
So that's just a thought about the relevance of this kind of activity. You had a great year and I hope you enjoy your summer!
